Jane Romweber | PartnerJane Romweber has consulted for more than 25 years on executive and director pay issues, including pay levels and program design, pay-for-performance linkages, compensation strategy and its achievement, governance best practices, technical issues and implementation. Jane’s clients include boards of directors and management at large-cap and mid-cap companies in diverse industries including business services, energy and utilities, media, manufacturing, defense, consumer products, distribution, financial services and retailing. Jane is the author of numerous articles and speeches covering topics such as the pay of non-CEO chairs, trends in executive compensation, the appropriate use of data, Compensation Committee governance, employment contracts, and the economics of stock options. Publications featuring her work have included WorldatWork Journal, Workspan, Directors and Boards magazine, and the Corporate Board Member Board Governance Series. Jane began her career as a CPA with a tax specialty at Arthur Andersen & Co, and while there taught in the M. S. Taxation program at DePaul University. She spent 25 years with Hewitt Associates in its executive compensation practice and was a Principal and a member of the Executive Compensation Leadership Team, also serving on Hewitt’s Executive Committee. |
