Tom McNeill | Consultant

Tom McNeill has more than 20 years of consulting and corporate experience. He advises clients regarding a broad range of executive and director compensation matters, including compensation benchmarking, incentive plan design, severance and change in control arrangements, corporate governance, and compliance. In his consulting he emphasizes compensation strategy development and the alignment of pay and performance.

Tom has consulted with public and private companies in diverse industries, with a particular focus on oil and gas, energy services, and engineering and construction. Most of his client relationships are at the Compensation Committee level but involve regular interaction with company management.

Tom’s international experience includes working with clients on various compensation and financial issues in the U.K., Europe, Latin America, Japan, Australia, Russia, and the Middle East. He has advised clients on a number of significant corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and spin-offs. He also has significant experience with financial and economic analysis, as well as topics specific to the energy industry.

Tom began his career working at a global integrated oil and gas company, where he held roles in finance, strategic planning, operations analysis, and executive compensation. He has spent most of the last fifteen years working in the area of executive and director compensation.
