Jason Welsh is a Principal at Meridian Compensation Partners with nearly 20 years of compensation consulting experience. He advises Compensation Committees, boards of directors, and senior leadership teams on executive and director compensation, incentive plan design, and compensation strategy. His experience spans a broad range of industries, including publicly traded companies, privately held businesses, and large family-owned organizations.
Prior to joining Meridian, Jason was a Principal in Mercer’s Career business, specializing in executive and workforce compensation. He has extensive experience developing compensation philosophies and total rewards strategies, designing short- and long-term incentive programs, assessing pay competitiveness, and advising on salary structures and performance management programs.
Throughout his career, Jason has served as an independent executive compensation advisor to boards of publicly traded companies and has worked closely with private and family-owned businesses to develop incentive programs aligned with their business objectives. He brings a practical perspective to compensation decisions, helping organizations balance competitive pay practices with business strategy and performance.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Michigan State University.
