Corey Washington is a Principal at Meridian Compensation Partners and has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has a proven track record of designing and executing strategic compensation programs for multinational organizations across various industry sectors, countries and diverse markets. As a senior compensation executive, he was a trusted advisor to CEOs and senior executives, led M&A initiatives and implemented innovative business strategies.
Areas of Focus Include: Executive Compensation, Compensation Committees and Board Advisory, Short-Term and Long-Term Incentive Plan Design, Financial Analysis and Modeling, Project Management and Market Intelligence (role-based and industry practices)
Prior to joining Meridian Compensation Partners, Corey was the Global Head of Compensation for Millennium Management — one of the world’s leading hedge funds. Prior to Millennium Management, he was the Head of Executive and Investments Compensation at New York Life Insurance. He also held several senior compensation roles at Brown Brothers Harriman, Bank of New York, Barclays Capital, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. Corey began his career as an Actuarial Analyst at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Lehman Brothers.
Corey received his MBA in Finance and Accounting from Fordham University and a B.S. in Actuarial Mathematical Science from the University at Albany.
